Ethan (CAD & Programming) – Homeschooled 12th grader. This is his sixth year in FTC. Ethan enjoys video games, reading, and baseball. He has been homeschooled his whole life, and his favorite subject in school is math. He joined because FTC sounded fun, and he hoped to meet new people.
Gerald “JJ” (Building & CAD) – 12th grader at Burnsville High School. This is his fifth year in FTC. JJ enjoys baseball and reading. He went to Metcalf for middle school. His favorite subject is science. He joined FTC because he wants to learn about CAD and building.
Roshan (Building and CAD) – 8th grader at Eagle Ridge Middle School. This is his third year in FTC. Roshan enjoys swimming. His favorite subject is math. He joined robotics because he wanted to learn more about CAD and engineering.
Team Mentors
Audra – Freshman at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. This is her first year as an FTC Mentor. She enjoys reading. Her favorite subject is math. She joined FTC because she wanted to learn more about engineering and programming.
Ryan – Sophomore at Metro State College. This is his second year as a mentor and specializes in programming and 3D printing. He enjoys playing video games and doing CAD in his free time. Ryan loves engineering and programming, and he joined FTC because he thought it would be a good way to express his joy in engineering and technology.
Adam – This is Adam’s third year as an FTC mentor. He works as a Sr Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics at Surmodics. In his free time, he is a volunteer sound tech and enjoys disc golf.
